He nowadays is t h e Graffiti star personified. Angelina Jolie, wife to these-days unknown Brad Pitt, recently bought several of his pictures. Banksy prettifies cities, mainly London, walls in Palestine and justly does work for money (Puma and MTV for instance). There were complaints in Palestine. An old guy said that he was making the wall beautiful. But it should stay ugly because it is hated. Understandable. But one can understand Banksy too. Sometimes he raises the admonishing moral finger. But mostly he is squeezing the trigger of a can of spray paint. And that is good. There’s no doubt: This book is a must and no art-book collection would be complete without it!
